Mindfulness is a way of being, an approach to life and a tool set you can use to navigate the modern world.
The approach we use at Dr Purves can seem a little different to the approaches used in other program. Dr Purves spent almost 5 years as a serious student of the work of G.I Gurdjieff. This approach to mindfulness is firmly rooted in the proposition that we are lives are running on automatic pilot a lot of the time. This means that we are almost always unconscious of the effect of others interactions with us and our interactions with others.
